OC Winter Basketball Action Continues

OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s boys’ winter basketball league continued this week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following is a quick snapshot of some of this week’s games:

• Park Place Jewelers 31- OC Rec Boosters 22: Devin Waters scored 13 points and Kevin Beck added 12 to lead Park Place. Churchill Bounds led the Boosters with nine points.

• OC FOP 53- OC-Berlin Optimists 32: Clayton Hardy led all scorers with 14 for the FOP, while Shawn Johnson added 12. Jake Sites and Konny Rishel each scored eight points for the Optimists in the losing effort.

• Trimper’s Rides 29- Endless Golf 20: Willem Lamberston went off for 18 points to lead Trimper’s. Evan Kinsey led Endless Golf with eight.

• OC Rec Boosters 26- Bayside Skillet 26: Drew Hauesen led all scorers with 13 points as the two teams played to a tie. Colin Miller led the Boosters with 12 points.

• OC-Berlin Optimists 32- OC Rec Boosters 24: Kenny Kerns scored eight, while Alex Kushwa scored seven and Cody Kaufman added six to lead the Optimists. Evan Lesko scored seven and Danny Garza and Avery McCormick each added six for the Boosters.

• Atlantic General Hospital 25- OC Rec Boosters 21: Casey Gabbard led all scorers with 16 points for AGH while Griffin Jones added seven. Davion Rounds led the Boosters with 11 points.

• Fager’s Island 34- Atlantic Physical Therapy 21: Josiah Dennis scored 11 points and Michael Romano added nine to lead Fager’s. Luke Mergott scored 12 and Brenner Gursky added nine for ATP in the loss.

• American Legion 28- Delmarva Irish 19: Hayden Cosman scored a game-high 16 to lead the Legion while Jake Anthony pitched in nine. Adrian Price scored nine and Tucker Anthony added eight for the Irish.

• OC FOP 23- Professional Mortgage 23: Chase Hill scored eight points and Kris Medford added six for the FOP. Xan Johnston and Hunter Wolf each scored nine points for Professional Mortgage as the two teams played to a tie.

• OC FOP 55- OC-Berlin Optimists 31: Deionta Small scored a game-high 22 points, while Daniel King scored 12 and Robby Duke added 10 to lead the FOP. Grant Rosenblatt scored 15 and Mahdi Sbih pitched in 14 to lead the Optimists.

• Tuckahoe Campground 16- Phillips Crab House 16: Jamison Bender led Tuckahoe with eight points. Derron Doughty ad John Kinnamon each scored six for Phillips as the two teams played to a tie.
