OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s Boys’ Winter Basketball League continued last week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following is a quick look at some of the action:
• OC Rec Boosters 47- Bonfire Restaurant 20: James Jones led the Boosters with 21 points, while Gavin Bunting added 10. Calvin Oates led Bonfire with five points, while Jack Bahlman, Hunter Williams and Jaiquez Jones score four each.
• Ocean City FOP 39- OC Rec Boosters 36: Evan Conboy led the FOP with 14 points. Malik Lawson led all scorers with 20 points for the Boosters in defeat.
• Delmarva Irish American Club 39- Ocean City FOP 13: Jymir Blake led all scorers as the Irish beat the FOP. Michael Barnes led the FOP with five points.
• Fager’s Island 27- OC Elks Lodge 15: Michael Romano and Carson Barnes each scored 10 points to lead Fager’s to victory. Tucker Anthony led the Elks with nine points.
• OC Rec Boosters 24- Trimper’s Rides 24: Reece Stone led the Boosters with 11 points, while Laith Alkhyyat scored six and Jude Vandornick scored five. Willem Lambertson led Trimper’s with 10 points, while Derek Bellemare and Gabe Herling each scored six.
• Bayside Skillet 36- Park Place Jewelers 28: Jamier Felton scored a game-high 24 to lead Bayside Skillet. Devin Waters scored 14 and Colin Eitel added seven for Park Place in defeat.
• OC Rec Boosters 44- OC/Berlin Optimists 29: Fietroy Satoute went off for 25 points to lead the Boosters. Chris Leitgeb led the Optimists with 11 points.
• Trimper’s Rides 27- OC/Berlin Optimists 5: Willem Lambertson scored a game-high 27 to lead Trimper’s, while Gabe Herling added five points. Adam Sites scored all of his team’s five points in the loss.
