New Location Announced
BERLIN – Atlantic General Health System announced this week that Dr. Munna Garg and Dr. Danielle Orr will relocate their practices to the new Atlantic General Medical Center opening in West Ocean City on Route on Jan. 12.
The physicians will be moving to the new space in an effort to better accommodate the growing patient population.
Garg is Board Certified and specializes in pediatrics and internal medicine. Orr specializes in family medicine.
Primary care services will continue to be available at Atlantic General Health System’s Ocean Pines office with Dr. Lei Gong, who has been a family practitioner in Worcester County for the past five years.
Jamie Hill
Bank Makes Promotions
BERLIN — Raymond M. Thompson, President and CEO of Calvin B. Taylor Banking Company, has announced several promotions.
Jamie Hill has been promoted to branch manager of the bank’s Snow Hill office. Hill joined Taylor Bank in September of 2011 with 14 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Taylor Bank, Hill had been employed as a branch operations manager for Shore Bank and Mercantile Peninsula Bank in Pocomoke.
Allison Lankford
Allison Lankford has been promoted to the operations supervisor of the bank’s Ocean Pines office. She joined Taylor Bank in March 2010. Prior to joining Taylor Bank, Lankford had been employed at Wacopse Federal Credit Union in Pennsylvania.
Ross Bergey
Ross Bergey has been selected to enter the bank’s management trainee program and will initially be located at the bank’s Main Office in Berlin. Bergey joined Taylor Bank in January 2014. Prior to joining Taylor Bank, Bergey was employed at Bergey and Company, P.A., a local accounting firm. Bergey brings to Taylor Bank a background in accounting and broad knowledge of local business in the Berlin and Ocean City areas.

BERLIN — Local Berlin/Ocean Pines Realtor Mary Bradford has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomesServices PenFed Realty of Ocean Pines.
The former Coldwell Banker sales agent has been a licensed realtor in Maryland the last four years and has over 30 years of residency in Worcester County and as a local business owner knows the area well. Additionally, Bradford has over 13 years of teaching experience in local schools and colleges with a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

Dr. Roopa Gupta
Hospital Welcomes Doctor
BERLIN – Atlantic General Hospital and Health System has announced that Roopa Gupta, MD, has joined Atlantic General Health System to provide medical oncology and hematology services along with Dr. Rabindra Paul at their practice located in Berlin. She will practice at Atlantic General Medical Oncology and oversee cancer and hematology care at the Outpatient Infusion Center at Atlantic General Hospital.
Gupta’s experience includes a geriatric fellowship at Harvard Medical School Division on Aging and a hematology/oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute at NIH, where she conducted research on lung and other rare cancers. Gupta obtained her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine; she is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. She is well respected by her past patients, receiving high praise in online healthcare ranking services.
Gupta is now accepting new patients in the Atlantic General Medical Oncology office located within the James G. Barrett Medical Office Building at the entrance of Healthway Drive in Berlin.
