25th Annual Greek Festival

July 12: OP Anglers Club Meeting

9:30 p.m., Ocean Pines Library. Successful anglers of the club will discuss how the flounder have changed locations and the altered methods to catch them. They will also discuss the tackle and techniques to catch croakers, spot, bluefish and redfish.

Memorial Youth Fishing Contest

Registration, 8:30-9:30 a.m., with contest from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m.; South Gate Pond, near Sports Core Pool, Ocean Pines. Youths should bring own rod and reel. Bait will be provided. Three age groups, ages 4-7; 8-11 and 12-16. Participants in each age group will be given special awards for the three largest fish and for the most fish.
