First Blue Marlin Caught

Much was made of the catch and release of the first white marlin of the summer season off the coast of Ocean City last week and rightfully so in the White Marlin Capital of the World, but no less impressive was the release of the first blue marlin of the season pictured here. The big blue was caught and released by Captain Gary Stamm and the crew on the “Boss Hog” with mates Tucker Colquhoun and Will Wangel. It was caught on Monday in the Baltimore Canyon at about 300 fathoms.
