BERLIN- Stephen Decatur girls’ varsity lacrosse standout freshman Jillian Mitrecic has been named a 2014 Brine National High School All-American and has been selected to represent the Pennsylvania region at the 2014 Brine National Lacrosse Classic.
Mitrecic, the daughter of Jon and Carolyn Mitrecic, will represent Decatur and the Eastern Shore as the member of the Pennsylvania Region team the 2014 Brine National Lacrosse Classic to be held from June 30 to July 4 in Boyds, Md. The Brine National Lacrosse Classic brings the top high school lacrosse players in the country to one venue, where regional teams will compete to become the 2014 National Champion. Mitrecic represents the latest in a recent string of Decatur girls’ players to be chosen for the prestigious tournament. Last year, her teammates Blair Yesko and Cassidy Remmell were awarded the honor.
