OCEAN CITY — On Tuesday, May 27, 2014, Alfred E. Cochran of Ocean City and formerly of College Park passed away.

He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Colleen Cochran; father of Robert Cochran, and his wife, Michelle, and Cindy Weller, and her husband, Mike; grandfather of Kyle and Kevin Cochran and Amanda, Jessica and Michael Weller; great-grandfather of Liam Cochran; and brother of Edward and Frank Cochran and Wanda Mitchell and Mary Lou Daniels and the late Archie, Georgie and Clarence Cochran and Virgie Terry.

Al was retired from the Metropolitan Police Department, where he served for 20 years. Al had his police family and then acquired another work-family at South Moon Under, a job he truly enjoyed. He was a lifelong member of the Elks and loved his family, friends, fishing and going to Florida for the winter.

EASTON — Teresa Anne Benhoff died on Saturday, May 31, 2014. She was 48.

Teresa was born on May 14, 1966 in Easton. She was the daughter of Larry Franklin Hinch and Suzanne Duvall Hinch.

Teresa was a graduate of Bauder Fashion College in Atlanta, Ga. with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She worked on cruise ships for nine years. Teresa worked for several years as a flight attendant for US Airways, out of Salisbury, and worked for SK Travel for the last 16 years.

Teresa married Daniel “Bo” Benhoff in February 2, 2007.

Teresa was a well-organized, thoughtful caring person always thinking of others. She was a member of the Easton Elks and VFW Auxiliary. Teresa was a Talbot Mentor and worked with Talbot Hospice.

Teresa was a devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend. She was a family oriented person, and loved her family and the times she spent with them, especially holidays and family gatherings. She treated her nieces and nephews as her own. Teresa loved to travel professionally and personally especially with her husband, Bo. Teresa enjoyed walking on the beach, watching sunsets, being on the water, fishing and boating. She loved gardening and had a beautiful rose garden. Teresa Benhoff loved life and lived it to the fullest.

In addition to her parents, Teresa is survived by her husband, Daniel J. “Bo” Benhoff; sisters, Donna Payne (Jimmy) and Lisa “Be” Crutchley (Paul); a brother, Joe Hinch; step-son, Matt Benhoff; nieces, Jessica Marie Payne, Ashley Elizabeth Payne, Samantha Jo Crutchley, Tori Anne Crutchley; nephew, Colin James Payne; and her beloved dog, Ruger.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Easton Church of God. Friends may call on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the Easton Church of God. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Cordova.

Meloy Robert Gray Sr.

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Meloy Robert Gray Sr., 75, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at his Titusville, Fla. home.

Born in Berlin, he was the son of Francis E. and Hilda H. Gray. He moved to Brevard County, Fla. in 1980. He had been self-employed in construction, fisherman and mechanic retiring in 2013.

He was a former member of the Ocean City Lions Club and U.S. Marine Corp.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Rocker Gray of Titusville; children, Carole Dee Poole, Pamela Griffith and Meloy Jr. of Titusville and Christopher Gray of Port St. John, Fla; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Lathbury Conley of Seaford, Del.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diane Burroughs Canavan.

Memorial services will be held June 14, at Crosswalk Community Church, 77 N. Carpenter Road, Titusville, Fla.
