The City of Salisbury and Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business recently presented 3rd Friday coordinator Jamie Heater with the inaugural Downtown Salisbury Positive Impact Award. Heater received the award following two weeks of online voting overseen by students in Paula Morris’ Advertising and Promotions class. The accolade honored her not only for her 3rd Friday role, but for her involvement in the Salisbury New Year’s Eve Ball Drop and the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District Committee.
