April 13: Easter Egg Hunt

Registration begins shortly after the 10:45 a.m. contemporary service (ap-proximately noon); Bayside Chapel, 38288 London Ave., Williamsville In-dustrial Park, off Rte. 54, Selbyville, Del. The community is invited to “come as you are” for the service too. Each registrant will receive a goodie bag with an activity book and more. Prize eggs for gold and silver will win mini gold or bowling tickets and chocolate. Hidden eggs will be filled with candy, prize tickets and prizes. Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets to collect eggs. The story of Easter will be told and the egg hunt will begin. Hot dogs, snacks and refreshments will be available after the hunt. Free for all children.

Comedy Tour

Doors open 7 p.m., Morley Hall, Sea-crets, 49th St., O.C. The Suicide Pre-vention Comedy Tour began as a fundraiser and awareness event. One of the co-founders of this local program, Melanie Welton, who tragically lost her life in a car accident on March 28, leaves begin 3 children two of whom are in their mid-teens. To honor Melanie and the work she did 100% of the 2014 Comedy Night proceeds will go to the Welton Children Memorial fund. Auction items, music by Broad St., Dave the Fruit guy will emcee with Tommy Sinbazo and Keith Purnell. Cost: $20, in advance; $25 at the door. Advance tickets available at Seacrets.
