Winners were invited to the Chapter’s luncheon meeting on Feb. 19 to read excerpts and receive their awards from American History Committee Chairman Joan Chambers. The winners were all from Worcester Prep. They were Hunter Gentry, fifth grade; Maximillian Taylor, sixth grade; Liam Hammond, seventh grade; and Brenner Maull, eighth grade. Pictured, front from left, are Taylor and Gentry; and, back, Katie (Kit) Matthews, DAR Regent, Maull, Hammond and Joan Chambers, Chairman, American History Committee.
