BALTIMORE — Jerome S. Klemkowski, Sr. died suddenly on Dec. 13, 2013.

Better known to his friends as “Jerry,” he worked as a longshoreman at the Port of Baltimore for 39 years while owning Henry’s Bar in Locust Point.

After retiring in Ocean City, he started a career as a Realtor and at the age of 72 he got his CDL and drove the tram on the Boardwalk.

He was the beloved husband of Johanna L. “Susan” Klemkowski; loving son of the late Henry P. Klemkowski, Sr. and Estelle Klemkowski (nee Drymala; devoted father of Matthew F. Clapp and his wife, Mary, Jerome “Jerry” S. Klemkowski and the late Gregory P. and John R. Klemkowski; loving brother of Henry W. Klemkowski and the late Irvin Klemkowski, Eugene J. Klemkowski and Estelle “Lenni” Anthony; beloved grandfather of Teresa, Bryan, Joshua, Kristy and Darla Klemkowski, Sarah Faulkner, Rebecca Lemon, Jennifer Bowers and the late Jessica Klemkowski; lifelong friend of Bill Wilson; and also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.

OCEAN CITY — Rocchina “Rocky” Stasulli-Bucholz of Silver Spring and Ocean City, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8.

She was the beloved wife of the late Biagio Joseph Stasulli and the late Albert G. Bucholz; mother of Leah ann Stasulli and John Michael Stasulli; grandmother of Kennth, Robert and Marysa; great grandmother of Claudia Leah and Samual Dean; and sister of Natalie Giannetta and Maria Erickson. She is also survived by her many loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Feb. 16 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring. Md. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, 4101 Norbeck Road, Rockville, Md. on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Rocky was a brilliant woman and never let anything stand in the way of what she wanted to accomplish. Born in Italy, Rocky immigrated to the U.S. when she was 8 years old. Rocky always told the story of how she could not speak a word of English and how her classmates made fun of her, but she never let that get her down. Rocky graduated from high school and attended George Washington University completing her Bachelor’s Degree in three years.

Rocky was fluent in four languages, taught school and loved to dance and sing. Rocky was a member of the Seniorettes Dance Troupe and loved to travel. She was active in politics, ran for City Council in 1979 and was the Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society in Ocean City. Rocky served as president of the Sons of Italy in Ocean City and president of the AARP in Ocean City. Her commitment to family, church and community will always be remembered, now and forever.

BERLIN — Craig Douglas “Red” Rettig, 55, of Millville, Del., died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2013 at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Mario Castro.

Born in Woodbury, N.J., he was the son of Genevieve Claire Rettig and the late Arnold Henry Rettig, Jr.

He is survived by two sisters, Katherine Suzanne Castro and Claire Louise Columna, and one brother, Walter Thomas Rettig, his best friend till the end and after. He is also survived by his two beloved daughters, Rachel Rettig and Ariel Rettig; one son, Alexander Rettig; two grandchildren, Kyleigh and Damarion; and nieces and nephews.

Craig will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for close friends and family.

BERLIN — Jack H. Campbell, 98, of Denton, died on Feb. 1, 2014.

Born on April 14, 1915, in New Liskerd, Ontario, Canada, he was the son of John H. Campbell and Cora Sedgewick Campbell. His wife, Lucy Virginia Knights, predeceased him in 1994; his three brothers also, Wallace Campbell, Harry Campbell and Daniel J. Campbell.

He is survived by three sons, John Peter Campbell (Anne) of Gettsburg, Pa., Wallace Campbell (Debbie) of San Antonio, Texas and Michael Campbell (Nancy) of Denton. There are eight grandchildren, Phillip Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Betsy Tyson, John Campbell, Ellen De Luca, Greg Campbell, Marissa Ortez, Enrique Campbell, and eight great grandchildren, Nina Campbell, Jack Campbell, Campbell Tyson, Luke Tyson, Tim Tyson, Millie Tyson, Olivia Ortez and William Ortez.

A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, Jack relocated to Baltimore upon his discharge, where he began 35 years of service for the Social Security Administration, retiring in 1973. In 1980, he moved to Ocean Pines and was active as a Permanent Deacon in St. Luke Parish and St. John Newmann Church for the Diocese of Wilmington, Del. He also volunteered at Joseph House for many years. Recently, Jack resided in Gettysburg, Pa. with his eldest son for a year and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish.
