BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity basketball team swept three games this week to run their win streak to seven games and improve to 12-2 on the season.
The Mallards beat Salisbury Christian, 35-17, last Wednesday and followed that up with a 38-17 win over Gunston on Friday. Back in action on Tuesday, the Worcester girls cruised past old rival Salisbury School, 45-27. Lilly DiNardo led the Mallards with 13 points, while Sophie Brennan scored 12 and Kristen Shriver added 10.
With the win over Salisbury School, the Mallards ran their current win streak to seven games. The last loss came to the hands of Saints Peter and Paul back on December 19. The Mallards’ record now stands at 12-2 on the season with just a handful of games remaining.
