In the fourth, Greenwood mounted a comeback largely against the Worcester reserves and outscored the Mallards 19-8 in the period, but the damage had been done and the gamed ended at 52-42.
Against Holly Grove on Monday, Worcester got out to an early lead again and never looked back, winning 67-32 at home. The Mallards were scheduled to play Chincoteague on the road on Wednesday in the last game before the holiday break and will return to action against the Ponies again at home on January 7.
