Ocean City Museum Society Loans Rare United States Life-Saving Service Tally Board To Indian River Life-Saving Station Museum

The Ocean City Museum Society announced the loan of a rare United States Life-Saving Service tally board circa 1880’s to the Indian River Life-Saving Station Museum, which is part of Delaware State Parks. The tally board was donated to the Ocean City Museum Society by Carl Schmidlapp III and is from the Parramore Island Life-Saving Station. It is now on exhibit at the Indian River Station as part of a Life-Saving Service exhibit.
