OCEAN CITY — This year marks 45 years of success in the real estate industry for Long & Foster Real Estate.
When Wes Foster started the company in 1968, he aimed to provide superior customer service while creating career opportunities for real estate professionals.  He founded the business on the principles of integrity, innovation, honesty and good old-fashioned customer service, and in doing so, he found success, along with a team of extraordinary agents and employees who have been integral to the company.
Long & Foster has grown from a single 600-square-foot office with a few employees to more than 180 branch offices and more than 11,500 agents and employees across seven states in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.
Long & Foster Real Estate is now part of the Long and Foster Companies. Sales have grown tremendously along the way, from $3 million in 1968 to a combined company total of more than $48 billion in 2012.
“To be associated with Long & Foster Realtors, a company that has maintained its growth, not only in numbers but also in innovation, while staying committed to its pledge of integrity and honesty is an honor and a privilege” said Stan Zaremba, Manager of the Ocean City branch office.
