Decatur Volleyball Drops a Tight One to Rams

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity volleyball team fell to Parkside, 3-2, on Monday to fall below the .500 mark at 6-7.
The up-and-down season continued for the Seahawks on Monday, which proved to be a microcosm of their season. Decatur lost the first game, 25-10, but came back to win the next two games, 25-23 and 25-20. Parkside then won the next two, 25-10, and 15-5 in the decisive fifth game. Haley Trice led the Seahawks with 17 assists, while Hannah Adkins finished with 13 kills and four blocks. Sammi Quilter pitched in with eight digs.
