Worcester Girls Snuff Dragons, 6-0

BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity soccer team beat visiting Salisbury School, 6-0, on Tuesday to improve to 5-1 on the season.
The Mallards scored early and often to steadily pull head of the Dragons and led 2-0 just 10 minutes into the contest. With just over 12 minutes remaining in the first half, Worcester’s Lilly DiNardo broke free on a fast-break and converted the one-on-one with the Salisbury keeper to extend the lead to 3-0.
DiNardo scored again with 1:32 remaining in the first half to put the Mallards ahead at 4-0 just before the intermission. Worcester added two goals in the second half to cruise to the 6-0 win to improve to 5-1 overall and a perfect 5-0 in the ESIAC. DiNardo led Worcester with four goals, while Julia D’Antonio and Alissa Talbert each added single tallies.
