Fredrick Edward Engelhaupt
SALISBURY — Fredrick Edward Engelhaupt, 84, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frederick M. and Lula. E. Engelhaupt.
He is survived by his sons, Fredrick E. Engelhaupt and his wife, Esther, of Tampa, Fla., John Supeck and his wife, Heather, of Mappsville, Va. and daughter, Barbara Ziegler of Bel Air, Md. He was an adored grandfather to David Supeck and his wife, Kelsi, Nicole Willis and her husband, Justin, Michael, Matthew and Mark Ziegler, Matthew and Allison Maldonado and great grand-grandson Mason Willis.
He leaves a brother, Walter and Joan Engelhaupt of Parksville, Md., and nephews, Kurt, Craig and Mark Engelhaupt and Steve Scruggs of Sparks, Md.
Mr. Engelhaupt served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He later worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric as a Supervisor in construction design. He attended St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church and was a member of the Bel Air American Legion Post #39, Ocean City Memorial VFW Post #8296, where he served as Past Post Commander, and member of the Korean Chapter of the 2nd Infantry Division.
