Worcester Boys Rebound after 1st Loss

BERLIN- Worcester Prep rebounded from its first loss of the season last week with a big 5-2 win over Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference (ESIAC) opponent Delmarva Christian on Monday.
The Mallards suffered their first defeat of the season last week with a 4-0 loss to Cape Henlopen, but rebounded with a resounding 5-2 over Delmarva Christian on Monday. Worcester jumped all over the Royals early on Monday and led 5-0 at the intermission. Delmarva Christian scored twice in the second half, but the damage had been done and the Mallards improved to 4-1-1 on the season.
The Mallards play back-to-back road games against ESIAC rival Salisbury School this afternoon and Seaford tomorrow before their next home game against Sussex Tech on Tuesday. The Worcester boys finish the regular season with a road game against Gunston and a home game against Holly Grove.
