Worcester Boys Improve to 3-0-1 on Season

BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s boys’ varsity soccer team cruised past Holly Grove, 4-1, this week to improve to 3-0-1 on the season.
The Mallards beat Holly Grove, 4-1, at home on Monday and now sits atop the Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference (ESIAC) standings with a 3-0-1 mark. The only non-win on the Mallards schedule thus far early in the season was a 2-2 tie with Delmar last Friday at home. Against Delmar, Wyatt Richens and Ryan Nally scored single goals for Worcester.
The Mallards now face two tough contests on the road including a date with Salisbury Christian this afternoon followed by another road game against old rival Cape Henlopen on Monday. The next home game for the Worcester boys is next Friday against Gunston.
