  1. Very happy no injuries and kudo once again to our men/women of the our’s and surrounding fire departments. Can never say enough thanks to our firefighters/law enforcement members.

Saddened that our friends to the north (NJ) just had a very bad fire to their rebuilt boardwalk/beach area….Dry weather, alittle wind like we had this past weekend, not even older establishments (the townhouse complex was not that old, compared to others) and quickly one’s dream and be gone by fire!

    Sunfest this weekend!

  2. Wow, building is totally gone, burned up 100%, and it’s RIGHT in the middle of town. Very strange that it couldn’t be saved. What’s the OC fire department’s statement on this?

    • The building was fully ingulfed in flames when the first unit went on seen and do to the high wind from the south it pushed the flames through out the house an aggressive attack was made to try to salvage the remaining home but do to the instability of the roof the evacuate call was made , The two houses on each side where saved with minimal damage !!!!! I’d say my fello brothers and sisters did an awesome job !!!! 343 never forgotten
