Spring Restaurant Week Starts Sunday, Ends May 19

OCEAN CITY — Restaurant Week, a popular twice annual event that showcases the area’s culinary talents at special prices, returns this week for its spring installment, beginning on May 5 and continuing until May 19.

Organized by the non-profit, Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association (OCHMRA), this event is a celebration of local cuisine and great deals. It provides diners with the chance to experience new restaurants while supporting the local economy.

During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants create menus around different price points, ranging from $10 to $40 (excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity).

“Having fixed prices allows diners to budget a day or evening out, while at the same time, Restaurant Week allows the chefs to exhibit their culinary talents and introduce new foods." said Event Manager Amy Tingle.

Participating restaurants include Bayside Skillet, 77th Street; BJ’s on the Water, 75th Street; Blu Crabhouse & Raw Bar, 23rd Street; Blue Ox Bar & Grill, 127th Street; Captain’s Table, 15th Street; Conners Beach Café, 2nd Street and Boardwalk; Crab Alley, West Ocean City; Fager’s Island, 60th Street; Finnigans Irish Pub & Eatery, 48th Street; Galaxy 66 Bar & Grille, 66th Street; Giuseppe O’Leary’s, West Ocean City; Greene Turtle West, West Ocean City; Hemingway’s at the Coral Reef, 17th Street; Horizons Oceanfront Restaurant, 101st Street; Jules Restaurant, 118th Street; Layton’s on 92nd Street; Nick’s Original House of Ribs, 144th Street; Peaky’s Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, 138th Street; Phillips Crab House, 20th Street; Phillips Seafood House, 141st Street; Reflections Restaurant, 66th Street; Shark on the Harbor, West Ocean City; Sunset Grille, West Ocean City; The Hobbit Restaurant, 81st Street; The Rice House Bistro, West Ocean City; Victorian Room, 28th Street; and Whiskers Pub, 118th Street.
