Decatur Girls Remain Unbeaten at 4-0

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team routed Bennett and Wicomico this week to remain unbeaten at 4-0 on the season.

The Seahawks started the season with a narrow 5-4 win over familiar rival Parkside, followed by a well fought 9-5 win on the road against Bayside North power Kent Island. After two tight contests early, the Decatur girls really hit their stride in the last two games with a 15-4 rout of Bennett last Wednesday, followed by a 23-1 shellacking of Wicomico on Monday. The Seahawks begin a tough stretch of their schedule this afternoon with a home game against North Caroline, followed by a home game against Kent County next Wednesday and road game at Easton next Friday.
