Worcester Prep Ignites Interest In Engineering With 3-D Printer
Students G5

A digital device that ignites interest in engineering and design that is destined in some form to make its way into most American homes in years to come is the digital replicator or 3-D printer. The “printer” works by reading designs developed by students and then producing them through a layering process with a plastic-type material. Showing Worcester Preparatory School’s 3-D Printer/Replicator are, from left, science teacher Colleen McGuire, Erik Zorn, Ariella Anthony and James Petrera.
