Decatur Routes Jags, Improves to 2-1

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity baseball team cruised past Washington, 10-0, on Tuesday to improve to 2-1 on the season.

After routing Pocomoke, 14-1, in the season opener, the Seahawks ran into some dominating pitching last week against Crisfield and fell to the Crabbers, 4-0. However, Decatur rebounded on Tuesday, thrashing visiting Washington, 10-0, in a game shortened by the lop-sided score. The Seahawks face Indian River at home this afternoon and will travel to Bayside rival Parkside on Monday.
