OCEAN CITY- Ocean City Police this morning confirmed a deceased body was found on the beach in the area of 45th Street.
OCPD public information officer Mike Levy this morning verified a body had been discovered on the beach at 45th Street. At around 10:30 a.m., the deceased was still on the beach as the investigation continued as the remains were being prepared for transport to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
As of mid-morning, the deceased had not been identified although he appears to be a white male in his 20s. OCPD officials on the scene said this morning the evidence does not support foul play and points to a possible suicide, but that will not likely be confirmed for perhaps days pending the medical examiner’s report.
The Dispatch will release further details later in the day as they become available.
