Agent Completes Course

WILLARDS – Nicole Brushmiller, account executive at Atlantic/Smith, Cropper & Deeley, has successfully completed the annual continuing education requirement of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.

To earn this prestigious designation, she attended five courses covering all phases of the insurance business and passed five comprehensive examinations.  Additionally, The National Alliance requires annual attendance in the program to maintain the designation.

A 7-year veteran of the industry, Brushmiller has been a CIC since 2011.

Health Fair This Weekend

BERLIN – Atlantic General Hospital’s 14th annual free health fair, renamed AGH Healthy Happenings: Your Community Health Fair, will take place this Saturday, Nov. 17, from 8 am.-1 p.m. at Millsboro Middle School.

Father Leo Patalinghug, creator of “Grace Before Meals,” is returning to again share his messages about the importance of family communication. He will provide a cooking demonstration while discussing the value of family meal time. Father Leo, a popular TV and radio personality, has been featured on the Food Network, and uses his background as a former competitive break dancer, black belt in Tai Kwon Do, singer, teacher, world traveler and cook to get to the heart of family and relationship troubles.
