Free AGH Flu Clinics Scheduled

BERLIN — As a service to the community’s health, Atlantic General Hospital/Health System will again be holding free flu shot clinics to the community.

Individuals must be at least 13 years old to receive the vaccine at one of the free clinics.
This year the hospital and health system has scheduled the clinics as follows:

In the hospital’s outpatient services lobby in Berlin, clinics will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 2-6 p.m.; Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2-6 p.m.; Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2-6 p.m.; and Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2-6 p.m.

In Snow Hill’s branch of Taylor Bank, a clinic will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

In Ocean City at the Townsend Medical Center on 10th Street and Philadelphia Ave., a clinic will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Additionally, a clinic will be held at Holy Savior Church on 17th Street on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

In the Ocean View, Del. office of Dr. Barbara Socha, located at 96 Atlantic Avenue, a clinic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to receive the vaccine at this clinic

At the Pocomoke Fire Station, health officials will lead a clinic on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Hospital officials urge you to schedule an appointment with your primary care provider to receive your flu shot. The flu vaccine, including the high dose vaccine for those 65 and older, became available at all Atlantic General Health System physician offices on Sept. 24.
