Robert C. Frock
CATONSVILLE — On July 20, 2012, Robert C. Frock passed away.

He was the loving husband of the late Mary A. Frock (Hession); father of Suzanne Frock and Stephanie Tebbs and husband Tom; grandfather of Kyle (Cindy) Tebbs, Kimberley Tebbs and Kerry (Michael) LaBelle; great-grandfather of nine; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family will receive friends at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, Md. 21228 on Saturday from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Burial services will be held in the chapel at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery on Monday at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.

Robert Michael Durham

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. — Robert Michael Durham “Mike” died on July 3 at the University of Alabama Hospital of complications from esophageal cancer.

After living 63 years of an action packed life, Mike was invited to live life eternally in heaven. He was an avid sportsman, Ole Miss Rebel fan and golfer. He was a graduate of Holly Springs High School and played football at Murray State University in Murray, Ky.

He had a long career in real estate and was a business owner for the last several years.

Mike was always an energetic and fun loving person with a knack for having a good time. He lived each day to the fullest and never met a stranger. He leaves behind his mother, Doris Avent of Holly Spring, Miss.

Mike was once married to Katy Durham of Ocean City and they had four children, Kelly Sobel of Berlin, Nick Durham of Wake Forest, N.C., Amy Durham of Ocean City and Brandy Durham of Ocean Pines.

Mike was affectionately called “Pop Pop” by his seven grandchildren, Ashley, Madeline and Matthew Sobol, Annie, Charlie and Helen Bradley Durham and Brooklyn Durham. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him with his quick smile and sense of humor.

Mike was laid to rest on July 7 in Holly Springs, Miss. Surrounded by hundreds of family and friends. A memorial has been established in Mike’s name and contributions may be mailed to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital, 1802 6th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35244 in care of Mike Durham.

Patricia Slota

DUNMORE, Pa. — Patricia Slota, 63, whom most recently resided in Ocean City, died on July 15 at Hospice Community Care in Dunmore, Pa. She returned to Pennsylvania to live with her sister for needed care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Slota, who died Sept. 27.

Born in Scranton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Pearl Siderowicz Anuszewski. She was a graduate of Dickson City High School, class of 1966. Before moving back to Dickson City, she and her husband resided in Ocean City for 20 years, and both were employed as resident managers at Ocean City Mini Storage.

She loved her grandchildren and she was a people person. She also loved spending time with her sister, Lucille, and brother-in-law, Dave, and going to the casinos.

Surviving are a daughter, Rita Mecca and husband, Mark, Mardela Springs; a son, Lee Slota and wife, Dawn, Ocean City; three grandchildren, Alyssa and Austin Mecca and Samantha Slota; one sister, Lucille Szescilia and husband, Dave Pitus; two brothers, Ronald and Alexander and wife Ellen; nieces and nephews; and several friends. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard.

Services were held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Community Care, 100 Williams St., Dunmore, Pa. 18512.
