BERLIN- The Stephen Decatur High School Athletic Boosters Club’s 13th annual golf tournament last week was a huge success with the number of participants sold out and a new tournament record of funds raised for the school’s sports programs.
The Decatur Athletic Boosters last Tuesday held their 13th annual golf tournament fundraiser at Eagle’s Landing with a sold out field of 144 golfers competing. For the record, the foursome of Dan Parker, Chris Carroll, Chris McLoota and Brian Taylor took first-place gross with a 56. First-place net went to the team of Stephen Barrett, Curtis Macomber, Greg Kinsey and Chris Carbaugh with a 54.22. Second-place net with a 54.7 went to Matt Ruggiere, Andrew Urban, Delaney Iacona and Joe Iacona.
