Pearlie Winnis Wheatley
BERLIN — Pearlie Winnis Wheatley died on May 19, 2012 after a long fight with cancer on her terms.
Born in Sky Gusty, W.Va, in February 1932, she was the daughter of Walter and Mae Harman. Pearlie moved to Maryland in the 1950’s where she met the love of her life, the late Edward Jacob Wheatley Sr. They shared the same birthday, three Sons and 52 years of married bliss.
In 2008 she lost her son Eddie Jr. to cancer and her husband Ed in 2010 of an infection. She is survived by her oldest son, Curt, and his little brother Bill, and his wife Betty and her two grandchildren Billy and Raven.
Ed and Pearl’s ashes will be committed in a private family ceremony where their son’s Eddie ashes were committed. A Memorial Service will be held at the Community Church of Ocean Pines on Friday June 1, 2012 at 11 a.m.
The World lost a true Pearl today but heaven gained an Angel whose work on Earth is done. “Go Rest High On That Mountain.”
