Students in Andrese Foreman’s third grade class at Ocean City Elementary School investigated how bats use echolocation to find prey at night. Above, Alexandra Strebe, left, was blind-folded and had to rely on her sense of hearing to locate Jessica Janney and Arusa Islam by listening to the sounds of their clicking spoons. This helped them develop a better understanding of how echolocation helps bats find food.
