Firm Announces Changes
OCEAN CITY – Ocean City area’s largest web technology and e-marketing firm, D3Corp, has announced Jay Bosley has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Bosley joins D3Corp with over 12 years of technology and organizational operations experience. Bosley comes from the Bel Air area and has experience in leadership roles with Baltimore-based companies ranging from $14 to $86 million in gross revenue.
“The addition of Jay to the D3 team leverages over a decade of operations experience and executive leadership to help streamline D3 processes and internal functionality to better serve our clients and position D3 for growth,” said D3Corp President John Gehrig.
Bosley added, “I am very pleased to join a proven leader in the region with strong technical and business teams and a history of exceptional customer service. I’m looking forward to working closely with our clients and the business community to assure that D3 is best positioned to serve our existing clients and best prepared for growth to serve new clients.”
Additionally, D3Corp announced it has completed the acquisition of Lynch Printing, LLC, also based in Ocean City.
Lynch Printing has been serving the Ocean City area and Delmarva Peninsula for more than a decade. The company has over 450 clients in its portfolio. The merger of web design and print technology provides a new set of offerings to D3Corp’s existing 1,200 clients. It also makes website design, mobile development, e-commerce and social marketing available to Lynch Printing’s existing list of clients.
“The pairing of D3 and Lynch together offers clients an opportunity to take advantage of seamless services across their online and print marketing campaigns,” said Bosley.
Lynch Printing will function as a wholly-owned subsidiary of D3Corp and will physically reside with D3Corp in its new office headquarters located on Route 50 across from the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce. Current Lynch Printing employees will be acquired by D3Corp as well.
Craig Lynch will lead business development efforts for the new D3Corp division as director of publishing.

Hospital Board Leaders Named
SALISBURY — At its annual Board of Directors meeting last month, Peninsula Regional Health System members elected four of their peers to leadership roles on the Health System Board of Directors and the Medical Center’s Board of Trustees.
Martin “Marty” Neat was elected chairman of the Health System Board of Directors and chairman of the Peninsula Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees. Neat is President/CEO of First Shore Federal Savings & Loan Association. He was initially elected to the Health System Board of Directors and the Medical Center Board of Trustees in 2005. He replaces Dr. Murray “Ray” Hoy, who has served as Chairman to both the Peninsula Regional Medical Center and Health System Boards from October 2009 through the Oct. 6 meeting this year.
Elected Vice Chairman of both governing bodies was William McCain, who is President/CEO of W.R. McCain Associates. McCain was initially elected to the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees in 2005.
Edward W. Urban was elected as Secretary of the Health System and Medical Center Boards. Urban was initially elected to the Peninsula Regional Board of Trustees in 1996 and Medical Center the Board of Directors in 1999.
Elected Treasurer of both boards was Monty Sayler, who is Senior Vice President of Bank of America in Salisbury. He was initially elected to the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees in 2007.

Prudential Carruthers Acquired
BERLIN – PenFed Realty, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pentagon Federal Credit Union, the nation’s third-largest credit union, announced this week it has acquired Prudential Carruthers Realtors, a leading regional real estate broker.
The new company, which now has over 1,100 real estate sales professionals and 35 office locations in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area including the Delmarva Peninsula, will be renamed Prudential PenFed Realty. The expansion will allow PenFed to better serve the real estate needs of the many members of the military and Department of Defense in the D.C. metropolitan area and further enhance PenFed’s market presence with the installation of ATMs in each of the new branch offices. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

New Bank Officer
BERLIN — Calvin B. Taylor Banking Company President/CEO Raymond M. Thompson has announced Donna E. Weaver has joined Taylor Bank as the bank’s compliance officer and internal auditor.
Weaver comes to Taylor Bank with 24 years of community banking experience, the majority of which was spent with Shore Bank in Onley, Va. where she served as a vice president and member of the Executive Management Committee.
New Foundation Members Named
SALISBURY – The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore has welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors.
Dr. Carolyn Johnston is the supervisor of reading for the Wicomico County Public School System. Actively involved in the community, Carolyn is an associate member of the Junior Board of PRMC, she serves on the Fruitland Community Center Board of Directors, is active in the Wicomico Mentoring Program, and is a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Ocean City.
Mike Truitt is a senior financial advisor for Merrill Lynch. He serves on the Worcester Preparatory School Board of Directors, is the Atlantic Methodist Church Finance Committee Chairman, a member of the University of Maryland Terrapin Club, and past President of the Salisbury Lion’s Club.
