Berlin Dolphins Stun Wicomico in 2OT

BERLIN- The Berlin Cadet Dolphins got their first win of the season this week, upsetting the unbeaten Wicomico Green Terrors, 18-12, in double overtime on Tuesday.

With time running out in regulation, Berlin drove down the field again and scored on a run by Jason Jackson to tie the game at 12-12.

Berlin won the toss in overtime, but failed to score on its first possession. After Wicomico failed to score, the game went into a second overtime. The Green Terrors got the ball first in the second overtime, but the Berlin defense forced a fumble and recovered. J.J. Purnell then scored on a power sweep to give Berlin the dramatic 18-12 win.
