Coastal Kids Consignment Sale This Weekend

SALISBURY — Celebrating their 10th semi-annual consignment event, Coastal Kids Consignment events and their 50-plus volunteers will again be helping area families get great merchandise for a deal.

Organizers diligently assist over 125 families make money selling items and also support multiple charities by donating items at the end of the event. This year, financial and in-kind donations will be distributed to the March of Dimes of Salisbury, the Eastern Shore Pregnancy Center of Salisbury, the Asbury Methodist Church of Salisbury and the Baby Closet at Cross Pointe Church of Nazarene in Salisbury.

Gearing up for back-to-school preparations, moms and dads are overwhelmed by the need for new and longer pants, soccer cleats that no longer fit, and darling little ones skipping up the size chart. Coastal Kids Consignment event has brought together thousands of ways to get what you need at a fraction of the price.

Getting quality brand and designer label kids and baby clothes can put a crunch on any family’s budget. The one-stop opportunity to find fall and winter season items at 50-80% off retail is a not to miss event.

Bigger than a consignment store, Coastal Kids is three-day consignment event, beginning yesterday and running through Saturday, Aug. 27.

Hundreds of parents will be selling their gently used baby, kids, maternity wear, adult and specialty items at the Coastal Kids Consignment event.

Over 13,000 items were available at last year’s Salisbury sale. Laid out like a retail store, shopping is easy with an age, gender and size sorted sales floor that allows shoppers to find what they need quickly with minimal hunting.

For the new or soon-to-be parents, the sale has all sizes of baby clothes, necessary gear including high chairs, strollers, pack-n-plays and bedding. Expecting moms will love the maternity clothes as well other ladies clothes, shoes and home decor.

School age kids can find clothes, shoes, sports and karate gear, cheer and dance costumes as well as video games, books and games. Specialty School items including uniforms and home schooling items are also available.

The event will be held at the Commons Shopping Center on Friday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. (many items will be discounted 25 percent from 3-6 p.m.) and Saturday, Aug. 27, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. (many items 50 percent off the entire day).

The Commons Shopping Center is located at 111 North Pointe Drive in Salisbury behind the Home Depot directly off Route 13 Business.
