Promotions Announced

OCEAN CITY — Wayne Benson, President and CEO of Bank of Ocean City, along with the Board of Directors, has announced a number of promotions.

Jason Parker has been promoted to Branch Manager of the 59th Street location. He started his career with Bank of Ocean City in February 2003. He previously served as the assistant branch manager at the Ocean Pines branch. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Wilmington University in December 2010 while employed with the bank.

Kim Mumford has been promoted to assistant branch manager of the Ocean Pines location. She started her career with Bank of Ocean City in September 2010. She previously served as a teller at the Berlin branch.

Sarah Wagner has been promoted to branch supervisor of the Dorchester Street location. Sarah started her career with Bank of Ocean City in August 2006. She previously served as a teller at the Ocean Pines branch.

Agency Adds Employee

OCEAN CITY — Cathy Pasquariello has joined the staff of Insurance Management Group, Inc., an independent insurance agency located at 77th Street in Ocean City.

Pasquariello joined Insurance Management Group in April as the comptroller and will also have responsibility for human resources. Her career includes experience as an assistant accounting manager in the restaurant/hotel industry and a human resources generalist in the banking industry.

Certification Earned

BERLIN — R. Erik Windrow, a Realtor with Prudential Carruthers, has the received the Resort & Second Home Property Specialist Certification (RSPS).

The RSPS is a nationally-recognized certification awarded by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to real estate professionals who wish to demonstrate and promote their expertise in the varied specialty.

“It takes specialized skills and knowledge to maximize the business opportunities in resort and second-home markets. RSPS certification lets everyone know you’re serious about lifestyle real estate,” said Allan Dechert, chair of the NAR Resort & Second Home Committee.

New Associate Joins Office

BERLIN – Mary Bradford, a Maryland-licensed Realtor, has joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Ocean Pines as a sales associate representing homebuyers and sellers along the Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

“Mary’s presence on our team of sales professionals is truly an asset to our customers and clients,” said Peter Copenhaver, Branch Vice President of Coldwell Banker in Ocean Pines. “She is dedicated to providing top-notch service and we are excited to welcome her to the Coldwell Banker family.”

Bradford holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Salisbury University’s Perdue School of Business and a Master’s Degree in Education from Salisbury State University.
