Rowland
Michael Stevens

BERLIN
– Rowland Michael Stevens, age 72, died Aug. 14, 2010 at his home in Berlin.

He
leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Patricia Ann Stevens; two sons,
Michael C. Stevens and his wife Denise of Las Vegas, Nev. and Craig F. Stevens
and his wife Heather of Columbia, Md.; a daughter, Laura M. Seebeck and her
husband Mark of Annapolis. He is also survived by a brother, Paul Stevens of
Portland, Ore. He was adored grandfather of five grandsons, Shane Seebeck, Luke
Seebeck, Trevor Stevens, Justin Stevens and Cooper Stevens.

Services
were held. Memorial contributions in Rowland’s name may be made to Sidney
Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center C/o Johns Hopkins, PO Box 17046, Baltimore,
Md. 21298-0001, or Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802-1733.

Arrangements
are in the care of the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin.

Janet
Hall Miles

OCEAN
PINES – Janet Hall Miles, age 79, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010 at
Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.

Born in
Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Gainer Hall.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Fallowfield, in 1961. She
is survived by her husband, Patrick Henry "Pat" Miles.
Miles was a devoted wife and beloved mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She was
a graduate of University of Miami at Ohio. She was a member of St. John Neumann
Catholic Church in Ocean Pines.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Jean Fallowfield and
her husband Larry of Laguna Beach, Calif., Lynn Withers and her husband Gary of
Folly Beach, S.C., Susan Patch and her husband Robert of Newark, Del. and
Stephen Fallowfield of Bowie, Md.; step children, Amy Adams of Glen Burnie, Md.
and Wayne Miles of Union Bridge, Md.; grandchildren, Renae Patch, Lea Patch and
Sean Fallowfield; step grandchildren, Joseph Adams, Jr., Stacey Adams, Austin
Miles and Shane Miles; a sister, Barbara Walford and her husband Edward of
Colorado Springs, CO; and six nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010 at
11 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines. Rev. Thomas J.
Protack will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Berlin.

In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Gerri
Harrison, 337 Winter Quarter Dr., Pocomoke, Md. 21851 or to the Foundation
Fighting Blindness, 11435 Cronhill Dr., Owings Mills, Md. 21117. Arrangements

Loretta
Florine Falcone

OCEAN
CITY – Loretta Florine Falcone, age 96, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Atlantic
General Hospital in Berlin.

Born in
Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Antonino and Gertrude
Pedone. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Falcone in 2005.
She is survived by her children, Dolores M. Craig and her husband James of
Ocean City, Donna M. Cowdrey and her husband General Christian B. Cowdrey of
Norfolk, Va.; a sister, Gertrude Howard of Berlin; five grandchildren, Erin M.
McCollough, Dana M. Fischbeck, Christian B. Cowdrey, II, Lauran M. Morrison and
Lindsay M. Cole; and five great grandchildren, Devan M. Fischbeck, Blake C.
Cole, Luke M. Cole, Conner L. Morrison and Lucy M. Morrison; and several nieces
and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, Aug. 20, 2010 at
11 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines. Rev. Thomas J.
