Arbor Day Celebration at Northside Park
The Ocean City Beautification Committee joins Mayor Rick Meehan at this year’s Arbor Day ceremony Friday at Northside Park. The town received the designation of Tree City USA for the 22nd year, along with the Maryland PLANT Community Award, which the town has received the past 18 years.
Sussex Tech High School Student Wins OC/Berlin Optimist Club Essay Contest
Andrew Bell of Seaford, Del. wrote the winning essay in the Ocean City/Berlin Optimist Club contest and the Maryland/South Delaware District of Optimist International contest.
