Realtors Ink New Designation

OCEAN CITY – Kim Lucido-McCabe  and Courtney B. Richardson with Condominium Realty, Ltd./Mark Fritschle Group have earned the nationally-recognized Short Sale and Foreclosure Certification (SFR).

The National Association of Realtors® offers the SFR certification to agents wanting to help both buyers and sellers navigate these complicated transactions, as demand for professional expertise with distressed sales grows. The certification program includes training on how to qualify sellers for short sales, negotiate with lenders, protect buyers, and limit risk, and provides resources to help Realtors stay current on national and state-specific information as the market for these distressed properties evolves.

Company Names Top Agents

BERLIN – Hileman Real Estate announces the top listing and sales agent for the Month of March.

Sonia Zaffiris has been named top listing agent, while Bethany Drew has been named top sales agent.

New Credentials Earned

BERLIN – Murray Oltman, Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Atlantic General Hospital, has been credentialed as a Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO) by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).

“We believe CHCIO status is now the standard that organizations must use when determining who leads healthcare IT projects and initiatives,” said Tim Stettheimer, PhD, chair of CHIME’s certification committee and CHIME Board of Trustees. “Becoming a Certified Healthcare CIO is not easy, but it’s important that we keep the bar high so this credential represents the best of the best.”

CHCIO status represents achievement of the highest standard of professional development for healthcare CIOs. The certification program is the only credentialing program that distinguishes healthcare IT executives from others in the industry.

“I’m obviously especially pleased with achieving this recognition,” says Oltman. “Healthcare IT is an amazingly complex environment; CIOs must understand federal and state regulatory compliance issues, and have a thorough knowledge of the clinical setting, project management, human resources, patient rights, finances, privacy laws and public policy. Although my focus may be the integration of IT enabled technologies within the healthcare setting, I share the same goal of everyone at Atlantic General – to continually improve the patient care provided to our community.”

OCEAN CITY – Cate Carrick, Claims Representative of the Insurance Management Group, Inc. has successfully completed the Certified Insurance Service Representative, Insuring Personal Auto Exposures, held in Wilmington, Del.

The insurance course attended was one of the five parts offered by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association of Maryland.
