Local Student Visits Manatee Viewing Center in Florida

J.C. Wood, a kindergarten student at Showell Elementary, visited the Manatee Viewing Center in Apollo Beach, Fla. last week. He learned about the manatees’ habitat and the importance of never touching a "sea cow", since they are an endangered species.
