Wall Murals on Dorchester Street Get New Look

The wall murals on Dorchester Street by the Boardwalk are presently being renovated by two of the original painters who completed the original murals and another artist. Local artist Earl Cantine and Colleen Black of Pittsburgh and Juro Molcak of Slovakia painted the original mural in 2003. The mural depicts postcards of Old Ocean City. Cantine and Black, along with Pittsburgh-based artist, Rick Bach, are restoring and enhancing the five pictures comprising the mural. The artwork is being restored through joint efforts of the Ocean City Development Corporation’s Public Art Program and Jerry Greenspan and family who own the building the wall mural is located.
