BIS 5th Graders Visit Owings Mills

Recently 5th grade students at Berlin Intermediate School visited Junior Achievement’s "JA BizTown," located in Owings Mills. Students were able to become business operators, taxpayers and lawmakers in a hands-on learning laboratory. Maury Izzett was elected the mayor of Biz Town by her classmates. Above, Alex Ingersoll, Gabe Kim and Jimmy Englishmen were all design engineers, and their job was to instruct the manufacturing engineers in the production of flashlights.
