BERLIN – A masked intruder who robbed a Berlin elderly man on Tuesday night remains at large this week.
On Tuesday night, Berlin Police officers and investigators from the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation (WCBI) responded to a residence on Branch Street for a reported robbery. The investigation revealed the elderly victim was at his residence when an unknown male suspect entered the home.
The victim described the suspect as a male of unknown race wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a baseball cap and a white bandana covering his face. The suspect stole the victim’s wallet before fleeing the residence. Berlin Police, including a K-9 unit, along with WCBI detectives searched the area but were unable to find the suspect.
