Designation Earned

OCEAN CITY – Brian Selzer of the Ocean City office has completed the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor program at the College for Financial Planning and received the CRPC designation.

Selzer is a native of Altoona, Pa. and has been a part of Merrill Lynch’s Ocean City office for two years. He attended Green Mountain College in Vermont and has been active in business and charitable organizations in Worcester County for over 20 years. Selzer is a member of the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis club, and takes part in many local charities and events.

Leading Insurance Agents

WILLARDS – Atlantic/Smith, Cropper & Deeley has announced Don Fentress as the top insurance producer for May.

With more than 25 years of insurance experience, Fentress specializes in writing property and casualty insurance for local and regional business customers. Board Co-Chair Named

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Southern Delaware Tourism has announced that Lana O’Hollaren has been named co-chairperson of the Southern Delaware Tourism Board.

O’Hollaren is a representative from the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce and brings a wealth of expertise to the position with over 30 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and public relations.

According to Jim Smith, chairperson of the Southern Delaware Tourism Board, “Lana’s professional credentials, warm personality, and contagious enthusiasm are an asset to the organization.”

O’Hollaren currently manages the Rehoboth Beach satellite office for Aloysius Butler & Clark, where she has been a member of the account services team for more than five years. Prior to joining the Aloysius Butler & Clark team, she was the Marketing Manager for Rehoboth Outlets. Her experiences also includes nearly a decade representing 17 NBC-TV affiliates as an account manager for John Blair in New York City and marketing positions in radio, television, and print media.

Realtor Receives Designation

OCEAN CITY – Elaine Davidson, an Ocean City Realtor, has been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

Realtors who receive the CRS designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 38,000 realtors nationwide have earned the credential.

Diamond Award Winner

Steer Inn Celebrates Anniversary

BERLIN – On Saturday, June 21, owners Skip and Tracey McGarry will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the opening of the Steer Inn Tavern.

As a way to thank their loyal customers, the McGarrys want to invite them to celebrate with them. Crowded Outhouse will be playing throughout the evening along with special appearances from local musicians.
