Boardwalk Program Earns ‘Telly’

OCEAN CITY – “On the Boardwalk”, a Resort Video Guide magazine style program promoting the Ocean City Boardwalk, was recently awarded a National Television Advertising Award (Telly), for excellence in Creative Programming.

Executive Producer Todd Ferrante of Park Place Jewelers came up with the idea four years ago and created and produced the show starring Host Jessica Bridgett.

“On the Boardwalk” is a summer seasonal program of historical importance, fun, promotional, and reflective memories highlighting Ocean City’s world famous Boardwalk and its attractions and businesses. The show can be seen daily on Resort Video Guide Channel 10 and On Demand regionally and beginning its summer 2008 edition in June and will air throughout the 2008 summer season.

Creative Director & Producer Ray Shanklin of Comcast Spotlight and Account Executive Patricia Ilczuk-Lavanceau are credited with the support of the award-winning program along with the Comcast Spotlight Creative Production Team and Management.

The Telly Awards have become one of the most sought after national awards in the TV, commercial, film and video industry.
