Monday, June 2 – Berlin Attempted Murder Suspect At Large

BERLIN- Local police today are looking for a female suspect wanted for attempted murder following a stabbing incident in Berlin last night.

Around 11:30 p.m. last night, Berlin Police responded to the Bay Street area for a reported stabbing incident. The victim, identified as Raymont Johnson, 20, of Berlin, was allegedly stabbed by April Jackson, 28, also of Berlin while at Jackson’s apartment. The victim was flown to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury where he is currently being treated for his injuries. There is no information available on the nature of Johnson’s injuries or their severity.

Meanwhile, Jackson fled the scene following the stabbing and remains at large. An arrest warrant charging her with attempted murder has been obtained and the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation (WCBI) and Berlin Police are seeking the assailant.
