Berlin Intermediate

Sixth grade students at Berlin Intermediate School in Mrs. Nash’s and Mrs. Yingling’s math classes spent some time connecting art and math concepts. Students learned about abstract artist Piet Mondrian and then created their own works of art. They used concepts of geometry including lines, points, and parallel and perpendicular lines and included color to complete their works of art. Here are Alison Trimble, Emma Sage, Andrew Bradshaw and Yesenia Vega.
