Marguerite “Midge” Fowle

BERLIN – On Wednesday Oct. 24, Marguerite “Midge” Fowle died peacefully at her home in Bethany Beach, Del.

She was born in Washington, DC and was a graduate of Georgetown University. She was a world traveler who spoke several languages. She was very generous to everyone she met and spent her years on Earth celebrating life. Her love of life was infectious.

She is survived by her brother, Morgan Fowle of Potomac, and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, Del. 19947.

Berlin Intermediate School students from the sixth grade recently visited Buckingham Graveyard and St. Paul’s Episcopal Graveyard in Berlin. Students read the novel, “Wait till Helen Comes,” a ghost story, and then visited the graveyards to make rubbings of interesting gravestones.
