James F. Johnson, Jr., 42

BERLIN – James F. Johnson, Jr., 42, of Baltimore, formerly
of Ocean City, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2007.

He was pre-deceased by his father, James F. Johnson, Sr.

He was a devoted father of James F. Johnson, III; devoted
son of Janey Hanby Johnson; brother of Jane Johnson of Berlin, Joe Johnson of
Wilmington; and loving companion of Aneatra Tull. He is also survived by two
nephews, John and Christopher Barchus of Berlin, and other beloved family and
friends, Jessie, Josh, Bobby, Kenny, Emma, Tommy and Cody.

A 1981 graduate of Stephen Decatur, he loved reading,
Orioles games, flea markets and was an avid marble collector.

Funeral services were held yesterday at Lassahn Funeral
Home and interment was at Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Baltimore.

Joseph F. O’Brien

OCEAN PINES – Joseph F. O’Brien, 76, formerly of Ellicott
City, Md., died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Coastal Hospice by the Lake.

Born in Providence, R.I., he was the son of the late
Joseph and Yvette B. LeClerec O’Brien.

He is survived by his wife, Betty S. O’Brien of Ocean
Pines; two sons, Steven E. O’Brien of Delta, Pa. and Alden O’Brien of Felton,
Pa.; two daughters, Elizabeth McLaughlin and her husband Neil of Catonsville,
Md. and Shavaun O’Brien of Ellicott City, Md.; a brother, Robert O’Brien of
Stuart, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

O’Brien was a graduate of Providence College with a B.S.
Degree in Physics and received his Masters Degree from the University of
Rochester in Bio Physics and High Energy Physics. He worked for the Martin
Marietta Corp. for 16 years and was director of the Power Plants Dept. and
directed the installation of the first two reactors at McMurdo Sound, Anartica.
Later he was employed by the 3M Corp. for 20 years as a manager in research and
development. He was an avid student of Frank Lloyd Wright and enjoyed making
beautiful stained glass windows.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 at
11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church. Rev. Timothy Klunk will officiate.
