Joseph F. Velenovsky

BERLIN – Joseph Francis Velenovsky, Jr., 81 of Ocean City,
died Tuesday, April 3, 2007.

He was the beloved husband of Isabelle Velenovsky (nee
Bromwell), devoted father of Joseph III, Robert and his wife, Stacy, and
Deborah and her husband, Stephen Bova; brother of the late Francis Velenovsky;
and loving pop of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, April 10, 2007
at 11 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Friends may call Monday
from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Coastal
Hospice at the Lake, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802.

Vincent E. Sarter

BERLIN – Vincent E. Sarter, 86, died Wednesday, March 28,
2007 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born in Ridgewood, N.Y., he was the son of the late Edward
Adam Sarter and Catherine Anna Grimm Sarter of Accord, N.Y. He is survived by
his wife, Dorothy Andrews Sarter; sons, Douglas S. Sarter of Accord, N.Y.,
Timothy Sarter of Franklin Square, N.Y., Thomas Sarter and his wife Marci of
Plano, Texas; and daughters, Stephanie Dunwell of Kuttawa, Ky., Barbara J.
Sutter and her husband Butch of Reno, Nev., Diana Crupi and her husband Joseph
of Ocean Pines and Patricia Dawn Sarter of Laurel, Md. Also surviving are his
stepchildren, Dana Raymond of Ocean City, Lynn Raymond and her husband Tim
Murphy of Canada, and Carol Raymond and her husband Steve LaBrecque of
Altadena, Calif. There are 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a
brother, Edward Sarter of Valley Stream, N.Y.

Sarter was a retired Lt. Col. in the United States Air
Force and was a retired member of the New York City Fire Department.

Susan J. Ward

BISHOPVILLE – Susan J, Ward, 64, died Monday, April 2,
2007 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md.

Born in Hinsdale, Ill., she was the daughter of the late
Ted and Eleanor Michalak Rogala. She is survived by her husband, James E. Ward;
three stepsons, Matthew Ward of Plainfield, Ill., John Ward of Mendota, Ill.
and Michael Ward of Sheridan, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Susan Ward of Glen Ellyn,
Ill.; a brother, Tom Rogala of LaGrange, Ill.; a sister, Judith Rogala of
Murrita, Calif.; and two nephews.

Ward was co-owner and secretary of Mid-Central Electronics
in Bishopville, Md.

A
memorial service was held. Donations may be sent to The Joanne Rockwell
